After nearly 20 years in the construction and utility industries, our founder had enough of squeezing into men’s flame-resistant gear that didn’t fit and didn’t protect. That frustration turned into action—SparkFR was born to give tradeswomen the gear they deserve.
We design and deliver safety-certified flame-resistant apparel tailored specifically for women in utilities, construction, and industrial trades. SparkFR is more than a clothing brand—it’s a movement to make women feel protected, respected, and powerful on the job site.

Our mobile fitting trailer is designed to bring flame-resistant protection directly to the jobsite. Stocked with compliant gear and tailored for women in the trades, the SparkFR™ trailer provides on-site fittings, safety day support, and rapid emergency deployment during disasters.

SparkFR™ is leading the charge to get fluorescent hot pink approved as an ANSI-compliant high-visibility color. Designed for fire-prone and low-contrast work zones, Safety Magenta™ is currently under research and testing. Our mission is visibility, confidence, and safety — redefined.
The Fight for ANSI Safety Magenta™:
A High-Visibility Breakthrough
At SparkFR™, we’re not just redesigning flame-resistant clothing for women. We’re working to change the national safety standard.
For decades, ANSI/ISEA 107 has only recognized three high-visibility safety colors: yellow-green, orange-red, and red. But one of the most visible and high-contrast colors, fluorescent hot pink, has never been considered.
We believe it’s time to change that.
Safety Magenta™ is our proposed fourth high-visibility color: a fluorescent pink engineered for contrast, visibility, and inclusion. It performs exceptionally in low-light environments, offers strong differentiation from natural surroundings, and stands out to individuals with red-green color blindness, a common limitation among workers and drivers.
Safety Magenta™ isn’t a fashion statement. It’s a functional breakthrough.
Already widely used in cycling, emergency event control, and visibility campaigns, fluorescent magenta has been proven to capture attention quickly and increase hazard awareness. But despite its performance, it remains excluded from official PPE standards, leaving millions of women and underrepresented workers without visibility options that reflect their needs.
SparkFR™ is leading a nationwide initiative to advance Safety Magenta™ through:
• Collaborative testing with research universities and engineering departments
• Partnerships with safety professionals, utility companies, and visibility experts
• Formal proposals to ANSI and regulatory bodies
• Public awareness campaigns rooted in data and field feedback
